My Tahiti Escapes was born from our deep love for our islands and our desire to share their magic. Founded by two natives, our agency bridges tradition and refinement. We draw inspiration from our ancestors' heritage to design authentic and environmentally conscious experiences. Teura Caroline Raimbault
Co-Founder
An epicurean with a passion for oral history, Teura Caroline is a born storyteller. Coming from a family of sailors, she traveled the archipelagos from a young age and immersed herself in culinary rituals and legends. After working as an expert guide for gastronomic and cultural excursions, she joined My Tahiti Escapes to share her knowledge and build bridges between visitors and locals. Her mission: to reveal, with elegance and sensitivity, the soul of Tahiti through its flavors, stories, and encounters.
Mateata Ruta
Co-founder
Mateata is a native of Moorea, heir to a long line of tourism entrepreneurs. Her grandfather was a pioneer of the island's tourism industry, and her father carried on the tradition by offering lagoon tours. After studying international business and spending several years sailing superyachts in the South Pacific, she returned home to found a company dedicated to promoting the islands and creating local employment. With My Tahiti Escapes, she puts her heart and soul into promoting the culture of her ancestors and building responsible tourism.
